Welcome to Ciao for Now, a family owned cafe and bakery specializing in full service Catering. We believe in good eating, good cooking and good company.  Our entire menu is freshly prepared each day in our 12th Street kitchen.  Ciao for Now offers Breakfast and Lunch daily and Brunch on the weekends and delicious Homemade Treats all day, Everyday! Come visit us at one of our three Manhattan locations or have us come to you with our free Local Delivery.

We began 9 years ago as a small, neighborhood cafe in the East Village of New York City.  We strive to create original, delicious food and pastry with the best available ingredients.  

We use local vendors for our hormone free, organic chicken, grass fed beef, and free range turkey. We use organic eggs, nitrate-free bacon, Hudson Valley Fresh milk, fresh mozzarella, handmade pasta, and local and organic produce whenever seasonally possible. We also bake many of our own breads.  

We use quadruple filtered water for all of our cooking, baking and beverages, including cappuccinos and lattes.  We serve organic ink! coffee from Colorado and tea from two leaves and a bud.  Our iced coffee is cold-brewed daily producing a lower acid, delicious coffee.

Our pastries are baked fresh every morning at Ciao for Now. We use organic ingredients when possible and the freshest, local ingredients we can find! 

We are proud and dedicated members of our Community; All of our food waste is composted at the neighborhood garden and we use an electric ZAP car (Zero Air Pollution) for deliveries in the city.
